A complete toolkit for modern
controlling and reporting

FlexiEPM combines management accounting, budgeting and financial consolidation into a single system – a Polish alternative to Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC and IBM Planning Analytics, natively integrated with Excel and tailored to local accounting requirements.

FlexiEPM streamlines planning, management accounting, reporting and financial consolidation. We bring together data from across the organisation into a single, consistent source of truth: budgets, forecasts, management reports, IFRS 16 and consolidation. We integrate with ERP systems and Excel to minimise the need to change working habits and maximise the speed at which results are achieved.

Trusted by

FlexiEPM has already been implemented by over 60 companies: from manufacturers and industrial groups (Wielton, Cedrob, Top Farms, Hortex), through listed companies and corporate groups (PBKM, Wirtualna Polska Holding, Baltona, OT Logistics), to retail and service companies (MediaMarktSaturn Polska, Tchibo, Orbico, WeNet, INTER Polska) and public institutions (PFR, PGNiG, NASK).

In all these organisations, FlexiEPM fulfils the same function: a single source of truth for financial data – one database, one set of processing rules, one result in management reports and financial statements.

#WHYFLEXIEPM?

Versatile, modular
EPM system

FlexiEPM combines controlling, budgeting, reporting, and consolidation in a single system that can be implemented modularly – according to your organization’s needs.

#1

A complete EPM system tailored to local realities

FlexiEPM is an advanced tool that supports the full scope of controlling: management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, HR controlling, consolidation, and financial reporting.

In terms of functionality, it matches global leaders (SAP, Oracle, IBM, Tagetik), offering the same scalability, automation, and process transparency. Our competitive advantage is local adaptation: FlexiEPM enables, among other things, cost planning with local law regulation.

#2

100% integration with Microsoft Excel

FlexiEPM is fully integrated with Microsoft Excel – an environment well-known to analysts and finance professionals. This allows users to work efficiently and intuitively, without the need for time-consuming training.

An Excel-based interface is not only about work comfort – it also means full flexibility in reporting and ad-hoc analysis. Data can be freely transferred “to” and “from” Excel, and the entire system remains open to integration with existing analytical processes.

FlexiEPM is based on proven Microsoft SQL Server technology and offers a multidimensional structure that allows for easy customization of controlling, analytical, and reporting models to the specific needs of a given company – from a financial, operational, and personnel perspective.

#3

Flexibility without compromise

“Flexi” in our name is no coincidence – it’s an approach we’ve had from the start. Based on the real needs of an organization, we design controlling models, reports, and interfaces aligned with processes, structure, and user requirements.

We don’t limit functionality – the flexible architecture allows for the representation of even complex business rules and enables easy modification of assumptions and parameters. Furthermore, the modular design facilitates system scalability and expansion as the organization grows.

#4

Polish team and full control over technology

FlexiEPM is developed and implemented entirely by a Polish team, without intermediaries or foreign dependencies. We have full control over the technology, feature development, and licensing policy, allowing us to quickly respond to changes in legal regulations, financial reporting, and European market requirements.

Our team is a unique combination of IT experts and controlling and finance practitioners who thoroughly understand the real business needs of companies. At the same time, we guarantee our clients long-term technological independence and stability, without the risk of costly migrations or loss of support continuity.

Which systems does FlexiEPM integrate with?

FlexiEPM retrieves data from financial and accounting systems, ERP systems, HR and payroll systems, and data warehouses. In previous implementations, these have included SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Comarch ERP XL, Comarch ERP Optima, Comarch CDN, Symfonia, enova365, Infor, JD Edwards, QAD and Streamsoft. On the HR and payroll side: SAP HCM, Teta HR, Symfonia HR, Comarch HRM and Simple.

Integration can work in three ways: a direct connection to the source system’s database, retrieving data via an API, or reading a file generated periodically by the source system. If none of these options is immediately available, the project begins by manually entering trial balances into pre-prepared tables. This approach can be up and running within a few hours and allows work to proceed using live data from the very first weeks of the project.

Working with FlexiSolutions allowed me to create a flexible ecosystem that addresses difficult operational issues such as sales planning and consistently reflects them in the controlling area.

It's particularly worth emphasizing the flexibility of the FlexiSolutions team's solutions and highly problem-solving approach – thanks to this, we were able to find non-standard solutions that out-of-the-box systems couldn't handle.
Marcin Radziszewski
Marcin Radziszewski
Financial Director at PBKM S.A.
The system has handled the Group's scale and complexity very well – as a result of the implementation, we have a consistent repository of financial data for all consolidated companies, regardless of differences in the systems and structures of accounting records maintained at the individual level.

From the perspective of the monthly reporting process, we particularly value the use of control reports, which allow for quick verification of the consistency of local data provided by companies, as well as reports that simplify the reconciliation of balances and settlements.

Additionally, the tool's capabilities were utilized to gather and consolidate budgets for all companies. Seeing real benefits, we are systematically expanding the scope of the system's use within our company, not just in the finance department.

FlexiEPM is a highly flexible tool whose reporting structure can be fully customized to the company's specific needs. I recommend this solution because it meets the needs of users at various levels – operational, financial, and management.

The implementation team thoroughly understands the client's analytical and reporting needs, proposing various possible solutions based on their extensive experience. Their knowledge of data analysis and reporting, not just the technical aspects of application implementation, greatly simplifies the implementation process.

A single source of truth when data comes from several systems

The ‘single source of truth’ refers to the single point from which all figures in management report and financial statements originate. It is not a single file or a single report, but a single database and a single set of processing rules.

FlexiEPM retrieves data from financial and accounting systems, ERP systems, HR and payroll systems, and data warehouses. In previous implementations, these have included SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Comarch ERP XL, Comarch ERP Optima, Comarch CDN, Symfonia, enova365, Infor, JD Edwards, QAD and Streamsoft; whilst on the HR and payroll side, they have included SAP HCM, Teta HR, Symfonia HR, Comarch HRM and Simple.

Integration can work in three ways: a direct connection to the source system’s database, data retrieval via an API, or reading a file generated periodically by the source system. If none of these options is immediately available, the project begins by importing trial balances into pre-prepared tables. This process takes just a few hours and allows work to commence using live data from the very first weeks.

Data from each source is loaded into the Microsoft SQL Server database in its original form, together with account numbers and the analytical structure. Mapping tables convert local charts of accounts into a common group-wide chart of accounts, and the system’s rules generate reports based on this. Each figure can be drilled down to the level of an accounting account in a specific company and for a specific period.

As a result, management reports, separate financial statements and consolidated financial statements are generated from the same dataset. There are no situations where two departments show two different figures and no one can explain where the discrepancy came from.
